Using The Special Cobalt ATS 314 the Yasaka Y Series are designed with particular angles and shapes based on the human body so hairdresser fatigue is minimized even during long cutting sessions.

The Special Cobalt Stainless Steel and Clam Shell Blade profile make for very soft cutting and very long edge life. The Yasaka Y Series Y50 – Y55 – Y60 is suitable for rough cutting and scissor over comb. It maintains the longest and best cutting edge and is proof against all chemical damage from salon products. The Special Cobalt ATS 314 is a cast Cobalt which requires no hardening as it develops full hardness as it cools from the molten state. Characteristically it’s the rate of impurities is extremely low and it has extreme corrosion resistance and extremely good wear resistance.
